2012

 Lark was up for another title in a weekend at the USASA Nationals at Purina Farms. She completed her Novice Jumps with Weaves title and earned a second and third place in two of her three runs.
  Taylor made the cut in a large American Bred class at USASA Nationals April 24 under judge Chris Walkowicz.  Thank you to his breeder Denise Walters for grooming and showing him!

Taylor completed his Excellent A Standard title at Purina Farms April 23 during the USASA Nationals.  He earned Standard legs each of the three days we competed with third, first and second placements.  He also double Q'd on Sunday. He earned a second place in Excellent A Jumps With Weaves. Saturday and Sunday Judge was Karl Blakley and Sunday's judge was Jennifer McDonald.
Taylor earned his first Excellent A Standard leg at the Muscatine Agility Club trials at the QCDC February 24 under Judge Tom Slattery.  He had a clean run and a first placement!  
Taylor completed his Open Jumpers title January 28 at the SCKC trials in Quad Cities Dog Center under Judge Terry Smorch.  He earned a score of 94 and a Third Place.  On to the Excellent / Excellent classes and being able to go home early!  
Julia garnered a Reserve Winners and a Best of Breed Puppy at the Central Iowa Kennel Club show Saturday January 21 under David Bolus.  This was her first AKC show weekend!

 

Julia got beaten by her sister Raven at the Central Iowa KC B match Friday  January 20.  

2011

 Lark earned her  Novice Agility Standard title over the December 9-11 weekend. She earned two legs under Judge Lisa Potts and one leg under Judge Ronald McClelland
Taylor earned another Open Jumpers leg with a first place at the DMGRC/DMOTC trials in Des Moines October 21.  He earned a bonus Open Standard leg with a clean run and first place October 22.

We tried out the new horse area at the Iowa State Fairgrounds with The Des Moines Golden Retriever Club October 21 and Sealy finished his Open Standard Preferred title with a second place leg.  This was his retirement run.

Lark was Winner Bitch and BOS at the Mason City Show October 15 under Judge Paula Hartinger.

Taylor qualified with a  first place in AKC Open Standard agility at the SCKC trials October 2.  This completes his Open Standard title.

Taylor made a valiant try in all his agility runs at ASCA Nationals and qualified with a Third Place in his Novice Jumpers run.  He also made the cut in Open Blue Dogs in the breed ring

Julia got a 3rd in 4-6 Red Merle Puppies at the ASCA Nationals Pre Show sponsored by the Great Lakes ASC

Taylor earned his first Open Jumpers leg with a second placement  at the Muscatine Agility Trials July 16 under Judge Vonnahme  
CedarWood's Raindrops on Roses "Julia" came to live at Fulltilt July 16. 

Taylor earned his third AKC Novice Jumpers leg with a clean run and first place at the ICDOC June trials.   He is now Dreamstreet's Ewe Got A Friend NA NAJ  
  Taylor made time in Novice Jumps With Weaves Jan 30.  He earned his second Novice JWW leg with a clean run and a first place.  The secret was his handler just had to run faster!
Hope earned her second Standard Excellent A Preferred leg January 30 at Scott County .  It was a clean run - first place.  She got thank you cheese for covering for my senior moments  

2010

Taylor got his first Standard Open Agility leg December 11 at This ICDOC trials.   
Taylor got a first place and his third Novice Standard leg for his Novice Standard title  as well as a first place and his first Novice Jumpers leg at Scott County October 3.  
  Hope had a clean run and first place in her Excellent Jumpers Preferred at Scott County Kennel Club agility trials October 2
Sealy had a clean Open Standard Preferred run and first place at the Scott County Kennel Club agility trials October 2. It was his second leg  
Sattva took Reserve Winners Dog both Saturday and Sunday at the Des Moines shows September 11 and 12 under Judges Francine Schwartz and Marjorie Tuff. Lark took Reserve Winners Bitch both Saturday and Sunday at the Des Moines shows September 11 and 12 under Judges Francine Schwartz and Marjorie Tuff.
  Sattva took Reserve Winners Dog Saturday at the Tri-City kennel Club show at Amana. The judge was Sharon Danley
Lark (handled by me!) took Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for two points at the DeKalb, Il show July 17.  The judge was Klaus Anselm. 
Taylor got Winners dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed at the Sioux Valley Show July 4.  Charles Trotter was the judge.
Lark got Winners Bitch and Best Opposite at the Sioux Valley show July 3 under Arley Hussin

Taylor got Winners dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed at the Sioux Valley Show in LeMars Iowa July 3.  Arley Hussin was the judge.

Lark got Winners Bitch at the Hawkeye Kennel Club show in Iowa City Sunday June 27 under judge Brian Meyer. 
Sealy had a great time in the ring showing Veterans for the first time at Scott County May 16. He garnered a Herding Group 4
Lark showed in her birthday suit and took Winners Bitch at the Scott County  show May 16 under Houston Clark.
Lark really moved out and garnered Winners Bitch and Best of Winners under judge Phyllis Wolfish at the Dewitt, Iowa show April 3.  It was her first point. 
Taylor went Winners Dog for another point at the Cyclone Country KC of Ames February 20 under judge Paul Willhauck.
Sealy and Hope started the year off right.  Sealy earned a Preferred Standard  Open leg and a Preferred Jumps with Weaves Open leg January 30, 2010 at Scott County Kennel Club trials.  Sealy completed his Open Preferred Jumps with Weaves title.  Hope earned her final Preferred Standard Open leg the same day.  This completes Hope's Standard Preferred Open Title and marks her retirement. 

 

2009

Sealy earned his second Open Jumpers Preferred leg at the Iowa City Dog Obedience Club trials at Kirkwood Community College December 6
Ryker James Lee arrived 12-03-09.

He weighed in at 9 lbs 2 oz and was 20" long.
Lark and Gracie had a great time and somehow managed to pass their CGC exams November 19.  They were happy - a bit naughty but happy. 
Hope had some nice runs at Muscatine and finished up her Open Preferred Jumpers title with a second place. 
Muscatine hosted a great trial this weekend (November 14 and 15).  Sealy had some nice runs and finished up his Novice Preferred Standard title with a first place.  He had a clean Open Preferred Jumpers run and beat Hope for first place .

Gracie had a nice weekend showing with me in Mason City, IA October 10 and 11.  She took Reserve Winners Saturday and Winners, Best of Winners and Best Opposite under Edweena McDowell on Sunday.  Gracie is now singled out.(Photo by Melia)  
Sattva competed at his first dog show in Mason City IA October 10 and 11.  He also showed in the fun match and got a puppy Herding Group One.  He moves so clean - especially for a nine month old boy but there is just so much to see while running in the circle....

Sealy had a great day and qualified in both Standard Preferred and Preferred Jumpers September 27 at Scott County.  He completed his Novice Preferred Jumpers title and has one leg to go on his Novice Preferred title.  His Jumpers run was a clean run and he took first place with it. 
Sealy is back in the groove and earned a Novice Preferred Jumpers leg with a clean run at the Scott County trials September 26.  One leg to go for his jumpers title. Sealy is fun to run when he is in the game - even when he doesn't qualify.
Taylor earned his second Novice Standard Leg with a third placement at the Scott County Trials September 26.  Only one leg to go for his title.
Hope had a qualifying Open Preferred Standard run with a first place at the DMOTC agility trials September 20.
Sattva had a great time at his first fun match at Amana Aug 29.  He took Best Opposite.
Taylor went Winners Dog and Gracie went Winners Bitch/Best of Winners at the Iowa City shows June 20. 
Sattva (from the Hindu concept of purity) has arrived.  He will hang out at Fulltilt till after the early July wedding of our daughter, Kati.  WE ARE BURSTING AT THE SEAMS but it is a pleasure to share some time and space with our sweet grandpuppy.
Our daughter Kati is expecting as well - arriving in June will be a fine Dreamstreet puppy that Kati and I will enjoy as a joint venture.
Jim and I are excited to announce we will be first time grandparents in November. Way to go Jen and Adam!
Taylor and I ran but didn't Q at Scott County May 9 and 10. Our friend Sheryl took some great photos of Tailor's runs .
Sealy and I qualified and won first placements in Novice Preferred Standard and Novice Preferred Jumpers at the Scott County agility trials May 10.
Hope and I qualified and won first placements in Open Preferred Jumpers and Open Preferred Standard at the Scott County agility trials May9.  I am saying the table prayer.

USASA 2008 Year End Standings are out and Hope is ranked 9th in Preferred Novice Standard and 4th in Preferred Novice Jumpers with Weaves.  I am quite proud of my Hopie girl. 
Gracie went to visit Juli Wiseman.  Juli and Gracie got a reserve to a major in Raleigh, NC March 19, 2009
Taylor and I went Reserve Winners Saturday and Winners Sunday  March 15, 2009 in Dubuque, IA
Hope and I qualified in both a Tunnelers and a Weavers run at the NADAC Games in Muscatine IA  March 7, 2009. Hope earned two second places (and 10 points each) for her runs. 
Gracie handled by Kate Batzner Northern got reserve at the Des Moines shows January 18, 2009

2008

Fulltilt welcomes Nancy Howard's Lark puppy.
Hope had a great runs at the ICDOC trials and earned a first in Open Preferred Jumpers. She  ran clean in Novice Preferred Standard and got a first there, too. 
Taylor made his AKC Agility debut at the Iowa City Dog Obedience Club Trials.  He had a nice Novice Jumpers run and earned a Novice Standard leg with a second place. 
Hope had two qualifying Novice Preferred Jumpers runs both taking first place - one was a clean run 10 seconds under course time.  This happened at the Scott County Kennel Club trials September 27 and 28. 
Lola and Sealy puppies arrived September 24. 
Hope had a qualifying Novice Preferred Jumpers run taking first place at the Des Moines trials September 20.
Gracie and Kate got Winners Bitch and Opposite over specials in Amana for the Cedar Rapids Kennel Association show September 1
Gracie and Kate got a Group Three at the Danville, IL match August 30

Taylor was getting back in the swing of things in the Midwest and brought home two reserves from Elgin, IL this weekend with Kate Batzner Northern
Gracie picked up a few more reserve ribbon this weekend - one at the North Star Herding Group in Lake Elmo, MN and the other in Elgin , IL- then upgraded to Winners and Best of Winners also at the Elgin, IL shows with Kate.
Gracie left her coat home and still managed to get two reserves this weekend.  The first was in Muncie, IN August 14th, the second in Burlington, IA August 17.
Gracie and Kate had a great time in Bismarck ND July 31, August 1,2, AND 3.  They went reserve all four days.  Three of the days were majors.   As icing on the cake Gracie got a puppy Group Three! 
Gracie and Kate went Reserve at the Elkhorn WI shows July 28.
July 5,6 and 7 Gracie and Kate went Reserve at Amboy, IL, then Reserve at De Kalb, IL and Winners /BOS at De Kalb .
Gracie had a great weekend with Kate Batzner Northern at Grayslake, Il June 13-15. They went BOB over a special Friday and WB/BW Sunday. Not bad for an eight month old puppy!

Gracie premiered at Waterloo, IA Shows April 18 and 19, 2008.  She seemed to have a very good time.
Taylor went Best of Breed both days of the Ottumwa, IA shows.  Thanks to Kate Batzner Northern for her patience and excellent presentation of Tails!
Duck and chick time!  We have acquired some runners and some Cuyahoga ducks as well as some Buff Orphington pullets. I am amazed by the difference in how little water the chicks use and how really messy the ducklings are.  We have never brooded ducks and chicks at the same time
The lambs are arriving.  The first was a ewe, born March 2.  The next, a ram born March 7, 2008. In the end we have four rams lambs and two ewes.  Lambing was rough this year and we are still analyzing why that might have happened. 
Taylor took winners dog for two points at the St Joseph Kennel Club shows in St Joe, MO February 2, 2008.  We would like to thank Kate Batzner Northern for her excellent presentation of Taylor.
Hope earned two Novice Jumpers Preferred legs with clean runs and well under course times in Kewanee, IL February 2 and 3, 2008. Better weekend than we originally thought - we got our Preferred Jumpers title, too!

2007

Skycove's Dancing Star "Gracie" arrived at Fulltilt  - December 16, 2007. 

Hope earned two Novice Standard Preferred legs with third place on both.  She also earned a Novice Jumpers Preferred leg.  This happened at the Iowa City Dog Obedience trials on December 7 and 9, 2007.  
Sealy earned his first Open Jumpers leg at the Iowa City Dog Obedience Club trials December 7., 2007  We had a great time on our other runs - even if we didn't "Q" on all.  
October 6, 2007 Taylor passed his Therapy Dog International test and is now able to be a certified therapy dog with TDI.  Bigger news is that Jim was the handler.  Jim was generous enough to agree to try this so he and Taylor could go on visits with Sealy and me.

Sealy is a dad. The Sugar x Sealy litter was born 10-16-07.   Check out the Litters page for details!
Taylor earned his UKC Agility -1 title at the 4RK9's trials in the Amanas (Iowa).  This was his first time out and he managed three first placements and one clean run - all with nice times.

Taylor passed his CGC Test (AKC Canine Good Citizen) May 19. 

Hope finished her Rally Novice title at the Iowa City Dog Obedience trials in the Amanas  April 7.  It is her first title.

Hope earned her first two Rally Novice legs at the DeWitt/ Clinton trials.  I don't know if it was her show nerves or mine - but we didn't do as well in the Novice Obedience ring.   
Hope earned her first leg in Novice Standard Agility at the DMOTC trials March 18.  In true Hope "all or nothing at all" fashion she had a clean run and took first place.

Sealy earned the final leg of his Novice Jumpers Agility title at the DMOTC trials in Granger, IA.  He also took second place with his qualifying run

Lambs three and four were born March 4 and March 7

The second, a ewe, was born February 21.
The first lamb of the season argued his way into the world February 20.
Sealy earned his Novice Standard Agility Title at the  Scott County Trials in Kewanee, IL February 4.

2006
