Taylor completed his Excellent A Standard title at Purina Farms April 23 during the USASA Nationals. He earned Standard legs each of the three days we competed with third, first and second placements. He also double Q'd on Sunday. He earned a second place in Excellent A Jumps With Weaves. Saturday and Sunday Judge was Karl Blakley and Sunday's judge was Jennifer McDonald. |

| Taylor completed his Open Jumpers title January 28 at the SCKC trials in Quad Cities Dog Center under Judge Terry Smorch. He earned a score of 94 and a Third Place. On to the Excellent / Excellent classes and being able to go home early! | |

| Duck and chick time! We have acquired some runners and some Cuyahoga ducks as well as some Buff Orphington pullets. I am amazed by the difference in how little water the chicks use and how really messy the ducklings are. We have never brooded ducks and chicks at the same time |

| The lambs are arriving. The first was a ewe, born March 2. The next, a ram born March 7, 2008. In the end we have four rams lambs and two ewes. Lambing was rough this year and we are still analyzing why that might have happened. |
